DIY - Twin Platform Bed
A vlog of how to build cheap and durable twin bed!
Our immediate family’s upcoming trip led us to explore various bed options. The queen bed in our guest bedroom was not enough for a family of three. The extra twin mattress in the garage was ideal for this type of occasional use, so we started looking at bed frames to make it a proper bed. Didn’t want to spend a lot on new ones for such sporadic use and were not too comfortable on old ones specially due to bed bug related issues – that’s where the idea of building a twin platform bed came up. We didn’t need anything fancy with headboards or long lasting material. The cost of lumbar was nominal and hubby was confident of getting the job done in half a day. So off we went.
